Jane Kolar is a skilled media relations advisor with significant experience in managing press for high-profile personnel, proactive communications strategy, and brand reputation protection and expansion. She is known for bringing a fresh perspective and energy to client challenges.
Jane’s passion for strategic communications grew extensively during her time as Deputy Press Secretary and Communications Advisor for Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan. She successfully managed press relations in a fast-paced, high-stakes political environment including throughout various state legislatures, a global pandemic, and a Vice-Presidential campaign.
Prior to her time at the State, Jane worked in media relations for various campaigns including as Press Secretary for Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey’s nationally covered reelection campaign in 2021.
She is excited to leverage her background to support Fluence clients and utilize her experience on high stakes issues to deliver impactful and timely results.
