Briggs Tople

Briggs Tople is a seasoned public relations professional with deep expertise in public information, government relations, and community engagement. He is known for providing new perspectives to longstanding challenges, and consistently delivers innovative, timely, and effective results.

He most recently served in the inaugural position as the Outreach & Communications Specialist for Goodhue County. He has led local public information efforts for FEMA drills involving critical infrastructure, such as the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant and the Lake Byllesby Dam. Notable accomplishments include spearheading the County’s rebranding, redesigning its website, and developing its first comprehensive communications plan.

Briggs’ prior experience includes impactful roles in government relations. While at the League of Minnesota Cities, he supported lobbying efforts for affordable housing and duty disability claims. As part of the Governor’s Office, he facilitated interagency coordination to implement an executive order on tribal consultations.

Originally from South Dakota, Briggs has worked as a campaign operative on local and statewide political campaigns for both major political parties, in addition to leading youth political organizations.
